"Our door kept stopping and reversing whenever it got about two feet from the ground. Called Cypress Door Services and their technician arrived the same afternoon. Located an intermittent short in the safety sensor wiring, neatly re-routed and protected the harness, and tested the auto-reverse with a 2x4 block to ensure full safety compliance. Fair pricing and friendly service."
"Woke up to a loud bang from the garage and found one of our high-tension springs snapped clean through. Car was trapped inside and I needed to get to work. Called Cypress Door Services and their technician arrived in 35 minutes with fully stocked high-cycle oil-tempered springs on the truck. Quoted me a fair upfront price with zero surprise charges. Door was balanced, lubed, and running whisper-quiet in under an hour. Outstanding local service in Houston."
"The door was making violent rattling noises every time it opened. Cypress Door Services diagnosed worn-out steel rollers and misaligned track brackets. Upgraded us to 13-ball sealed nylon rollers and did a full 25-point safety inspection and lubrication. The door now glides up and down so quietly you can barely hear it inside the house. Honest, punctual, and top craftsmanship."
🔧 Core Services & Capabilities in Houston
Ethical home service starts when Cypress Door Services conducts complete counterbalance audits and provides written, binding estimates valid for 30 days. We eliminate aggressive technicians using fear-mongering tactics to push unneeded motor replacements for a worn $15 gear with heavy-duty commercial galvanized steel cables with documented tensile load ratings on your invoice, giving you absolute pricing peace of mind: the exact quote you approve is the exact total on your invoice.
Rather than tolerating corroded low-tensile wire coils losing tension prematurely and making the door feel like 300 lbs, our team executes an end-to-end structural overhaul utilizing Grade-8 hardware fasteners. Centered on precision-machined aluminum winding cones equipped with case-hardened square-head set screws, providing Houston property owners with true commercial-grade durability right in their residential garage.
Elevating curb appeal begins when Cypress Door Services measures precision jamb reveals, custom-engineers track radiuses, and presents tailored design renderings. By banishing a plain utilitarian garage facade occupying 40% of your home's front view without making a statement through Clopay Coachman 4-layer carriage house doors with high-definition composite overlays and arched windows, providing durable, maintenance-free exterior beauty that withstands harsh weather without fading or warping.
Industrial continuity is threatened whenever failing an annual NFPA 80 fire door drop-test inspection and facing urgent municipal shutdown penalties: that is why our commercial division retrofits continuous-duty 3-phase jackshaft operators and re-tensions barrel springs with Janus International Model 2000 commercial 26-gauge corrugated steel roll-up curtain doors, minimizing expensive logistics bottlenecks and protecting commercial fleets from overhead gate damage.
By integrating Marantec Synergy Series ultra-silent direct-current drive heads engineered for rooms above garages, Cypress Door Services installs neoprene acoustic dampening pads between ceiling framing and opener support brackets. This permanently dampens an old chain-drive opener vibrating ceiling joists like a freight train every time someone comes home, permanently banishing ceiling resonance and drywall vibration throughout your home.
