"Our door kept stopping and reversing whenever it got about two feet from the ground. Called Doors & more and their technician arrived the same afternoon. Located an intermittent short in the safety sensor wiring, neatly re-routed and protected the harness, and tested the auto-reverse with a 2x4 block to ensure full safety compliance. Fair pricing and friendly service."
"Woke up to a loud bang from the garage and found one of our high-tension springs snapped clean through. Car was trapped inside and I needed to get to work. Called Doors & more and their technician arrived in 35 minutes with fully stocked high-cycle oil-tempered springs on the truck. Quoted me a fair upfront price with zero surprise charges. Door was balanced, lubed, and running whisper-quiet in under an hour. Outstanding local service in Lexington."
"The door was making violent rattling noises every time it opened. Doors & more diagnosed worn-out steel rollers and misaligned track brackets. Upgraded us to 13-ball sealed nylon rollers and did a full 25-point safety inspection and lubrication. The door now glides up and down so quietly you can barely hear it inside the house. Honest, punctual, and top craftsmanship."
🔧 Core Services & Capabilities in Lexington
Industrial continuity is threatened whenever failing an annual NFPA 80 fire door drop-test inspection and facing urgent municipal shutdown penalties: that is why our crew re-slats damaged rolling steel curtains and straightens wind-lock guide channel assemblies with 3-inch heavy-gauge commercial steel tracks paired with 9-inch stem sealed industrial steel rollers, providing full regulatory compliance with local fire marshal and municipal commercial building codes.
By integrating powder-coated low-friction silent track assemblies with precision flush-mount splice collars, Doors & more swaps out clanking drive chains for steel-reinforced polyurethane timing belts. This permanently dampens an old chain-drive opener vibrating ceiling joists like a freight train every time someone comes home, transforming your garage into a calm, vibration-free environment operating in near-total silence.
When daylight visibly streaming through perimeter gaps where warped vinyl trim fails to seal against jambs drives your energy bills skyward, our team replaces rotted wood jambs with composite rot-proof trim integrated with co-extruded vinyl flaps. With Tsunami Seal commercial-grade industrial PVC garage threshold water and draft barriers, turning your drafty garage into a comfortable, conditioned 4-season workshop or fitness room.
Restoring rapid vehicle access starts when our certified crew the mobile dispatch team at Doors & more arrives with fully stocked trucks to unbind and re-seat the door assembly. By eliminating a loud metallic boom echoes through your home as a snapped torsion spring locks your garage completely shut with pre-formed 7x19 strand aircraft-grade galvanized steel cables rated for 2,000 lbs break strength, leaving your garage door cycling with whisper-smooth reliability before our truck leaves your driveway.
If you have ever worried about family members locked outside without keys or waiting for someone to drive home and let them in, our certified specialists install direct-drive wall-mount operators and wire automated power deadbolts. Backed by Chamberlain B6753T Secure View smart openers with 2,000-lumen Corner2Corner motion-activated LED arrays, ensuring packages are safely deposited inside your closed garage, completely safe from porch thieves.
